The Story Behind Maison Boudreau
Maison Boudreau grew from a longtime love of antiques, interiors and pieces with history. What began for me more than 20 years ago as an antique dealer and furniture restoration artist has come full circle in a collection shaped by experience, instinct and the pleasure of finding something truly special.
Today, Maison Boudreau reflects the way I have always approached a home: collected over time, layered with character and filled with pieces that feel personal rather than perfect.
Where It Began
My connection to antiques began in 2004, when I was 25 and opened my first business, The Midwest Cottage, in St. Charles, Missouri. I worked as an antique dealer and furniture restoration artist, selling pieces through Big Bend Antique Gallery in Maplewood, Missouri, while also completing commissioned furniture restoration and decorative finishing projects for private clients.
That work eventually brought me to Dallas, where I joined designer Randal Weeks at Aidan Gray Home and worked on the development of antique-reproduction furniture and home furnishings, including a collection for Restoration Hardware. I helped guide products from concept to market, selecting finishes, coordinating with international factories, developing pricing, preparing collections for market, and supporting photoshoots and wholesale catalog production.
Later, I worked with interior designer Kathy McCabe at My Favorite Room & KMB Designs in McKinney, where my role spanned merchandising, retail operations, social media, special projects, and the development of private-label home fragrance collections.
Today, alongside my private psychotherapy practice in McKinney, Maison Boudreau gives me a place to return to another part of my life I have always loved: antiques, interiors and the hunt for beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Years of working with antiques, furniture, finishes and reproductions shaped my eye for proportion, craftsmanship, patina and the details that give a piece character. I personally select antiques, vintage decor, art and furniture that catch my eye, have character and feel like something worth living with.
My favorite finds are often the ones you weren’t looking for, but somehow know exactly where they belong.

How I Choose Pieces for Maison Boudreau
When I source for Maison Boudreau, I look first for pieces I would be happy to live with in my own home. I pay attention to craftsmanship, condition, scale and materials, but I also leave room for the unexpected. An unsigned painting or a piece of pottery by an unfamiliar maker can be every bit as appealing as something with a documented history.
Buying antiques online requires trust. I want you to understand what you are purchasing, which is why listings include clear photographs, measurements and honest condition notes, including wear or repairs when present. When a maker, age or origin cannot be confirmed, I say so.
